about

Composer and Pianist Paul Edis is known mainly through his work as a jazz pianist, with his sextet and solo performances. He also composes fully notated music in a 'contemporary classical' style, incorporating elements of serialism, irrational rhythms and extended techniques alongside colourful harmonies and expressive melodies.

These five compositions for solo piano were written over the course of 2014 and the spring of 2015.
